Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Amanda is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College & Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Youth Ministry and Christian Education from Cedarville University. Amanda has spent a lot of time working with youth - children and teenagers - and is passionate about working with the younger population as they work through life issues, ask difficult questions, and navigate identity formation. She has experience working with children, teenagers, adults and families with issues related to PTSD, depression, anxiety, and behavior difficulties. Amanda has received specialized training working specifically with children and teenagers who have experienced childhood trauma and holds certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Amanda approaches therapy from a holistic perspective and incorporates Biblical principles into the therapeutic process if desired by clients. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors as well as the American Mental Health Counselors Association.
